Vintage Hi Fi Amplifiers.
As a teenager I was a Hi Fi enthusiast. Indeed I built a radiogram from parts when I was 14 years old.
Most of the exhibits on this page were either owned by me from new or were bought second hand long
before the advent of e-bay or home computers
Please note -
Many of the exhibits are in storage. That is because we are at the moment building new premises.
That means that the photographs we need to take will have to wait until the last quarter of 2006.
Indeed, until everything is catalogued, we are not exactly sure what we have. In an attempt to set
up the web site ahead of schedule and working from memory, we are temporarily using some library
photographs and preparing the pages as best we can.
This page will contain -
A mint pair of Quad 22s and 202 Pre Amp with original manual.
The Quad amps have been in the collection since 1990.
A Trio valve amplifier
A Leak valve amplifier.
A Rogers valve amplifier
A complete set of parts (including Williamson transformers) to make a pair
of Williamson valve amplifiers.
The Williamson parts have been in the collection since 1992.
Here are some of the parts we have and most here are for the Williamson amplifier.
Shown below is a Quad 22 brochure and manual.
Don't know much about the Jason unit. will do some research.
